So we aren't really "attached" to anything. Unless you count the remote control and this pink wand/dive stick thing.

Perry loves her walker. She gets so tickled with herself when pushing it around. She loves to push it really fast too and just cracks up the entire time!

Perry's Stocking

I have been searching high and low for a cute stocking for Perry and couldn't find anything fun. I didn't want the traditional red and green that you see everywhere so I decided to get crafty this weekend and make her one! It's pink and green and turned out pretty darn cute if I don't say so myself. Of course you have to consider my lack of "craftyness" and the insane amount of fabric glue that is holding it together. I am going to take it to get monogrammed this week. Hope it doesn't fall apart on the monogramming machine.

We have so much to be thankful for. I am so very thankful for our families and that we are all healthy. I am thankful for our friends and for our jobs and that my mom and my sister keep Perry for us every single day. I will never be able to thank them enough for that. We are so very thankful for so many things, but this year we are MOST thankful for this little one....

We had a fun weekend with the Grandparents! Jannie and Bo came in from Houston to spend the weekend with us. I was sick all day Friday but started feeling better Saturday so we loaded up and headed to Hot Springs. We had such a good time and Perry was spoiled with both sets of grandparents fussing over her. :) I love these pics - you can see her two bottom teeth in a couple of them.

10 months

i swear i just wrote her 9 month post yesterday!

perry is 10 months today. she has started doing a lot of new things lately and is still super busy. she is still just the sweetest little thing. i love it. she makes the funniest face accompianied by snorts and hisses and then fake laughs when we laugh at it. she has 2 little teeth on the bottom and her hair has come in really thick and a little curly. and it's sort of red. i guess auburn or strawberry blonde is the correct term. she has crazy bedhead after naps and in the morning. she waves hi and bye bye, says light and dada, and sings along to old mcdonald - the e-i-e-i-o part. we sing that song a lot. she LOVES brian kinder - the kids music. she hates baby food and loves cheese, cheerios, fruit, chicken, and she always gets a bite of my toast in the morning. she loves apple juice too. she still struggles with a sippy cup so we use the 4 oz. bottles for her juice. also this week she has gotten super attached to me (which i love) - it's strange b/c she always goes to anyone and everyone but she has quite the case of "mommy-itis". i'm sure it will only last for 3 days so i will take every second i can get of it! she blows you kisses which is adorable. she stands on her own for short periods of time but is more comfortable crawling than trying to walk. i have been horrible, just plain awful about taking pictures lately. it's dark when i get home and taking pictures is just the last thing on my mind. last week i had to work late and she was asleep before i got home. twice. it was so sad for me. i love my job but it is hard being away so much! it makes me cherish every single minute i have with her. taylor did an excellent job of playing daddy and he has found a secret touch to put her to sleep. :) happy 10 months perry! we love you!

This weekend we made a quick trip to Dallas to play with friends. Perry and Parker got to catch up and had a ball together. Perry looked like a 3 year old toddler next to tiny Parker! The last time they were together was when Parker came home from the hospital and she is 7 months old now. Time is flying! Perry also got to see Lucy and Annie for a bit which was great! We couldn't see Ari and Zevi because they were sick and we missed them. We had such a good time and can't wait to see you guys again!

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween! Perry was a hula girl this year and then we changed into the skunk (aka lil' stinker) costume when we went to the party b/c it was a little chilly. Perry got to hang out with her cousins and then pass out candy while the big kids went trick or treating. Taylor even put on a Tigger outfit for a few of the trick or treaters.
