Perry and I went for a nice stroll this morning. The weather has been beautiful here the past couple of days - high of 83 today. Love it. She was sacked out before we got to the end of sidewalk and is still sleeping in the jogger stroller. Too cute.

7 months

I could swear I just posted her 6 month update yesterday. Where is the time going? While I hate that it is going by so fast, I love that each day brings something new. Perry turned 7 months on Monday. Yesterday she scooted the entire length of the living room and got stuck in a corner. Today she pulled up on a standing toy - twice. Can't wait to see what she does tomorrow!

At 7 months this is what Perry is up to:

-sits up, goes to crawl position, sits back up

-gets into crawl position, rocks a little then collapses and scoots on her tummy everywhere

-is all over the map with the sleeping - still gets up 1 time a night and naps very infrequently

-waves bye-bye or hi

-loves her daddy. he is quite fond of her too :)

-isn't that interested in baby food - likes it all but is just too busy to concentrate on eating

- is a wiggle worm! she is constantly twisting and turning in our arms

-loves to squeal and screech at the top of her lungs

- is still such a happy little thing, loves everybody and loves to be out and about

-raises her arms for you when you say "how big is perry?" SO BIG!!!!

-is in mostly 12 month clothes, although we can still squeeze into some 9 month dresses

-is using up her last size 3 diapers as we speak!

Happy 7 months baby girl!!! We are so very thankful for you!

Houston and Deacon's Birthday

We were in Houston last weekend for Deacon's 1st birthday! I can't believe he is already one year old. As always we had so much fun with Taylor's family. Jannie has more pics that I will have to get of Perry and her great grandmother and of the precious birthday boy all dressed up! Avery, Tatum and Josie also stayed with us so Perry got in lots of good time with all of her cousins! Bo even took Perry on her first golf cart ride. So fun!

Jannie came to see us!

Jannie came to see us last week! We were so happy to have her here and had the best time while she was in town. I really appreciated having her here b/c she would get Perry after she woke up at 6:30 or 7 and I got to go back to sleep! I slept until 9 am two days in a row. It was heaven. Thanks again for everything you did while you were here Jannie!

Nanny and Poppy's House

These are some pics from my parents house the weekend after we went to Magnolia. Taylor was out of town so we stayed with them for the weekend. Perry was just sitting in the floor entertaining herself. No toys, just having a ball. One of the pics she's in a really good crawl stance. She just rocks back and forth, she's not on the move quite yet.

A couple of weeks ago Stacey and I packed up and headed to Magnolia to see one of our best friends from college. Maggie's little boy Titus is 2.5 months older than Perry and they were so cute playing together. Titus is the sweetest pumpkin on the block and I could just eat him up! Maggie and Ted thanks again for letting us come stay. We had a blast! Here are some pics of the two babies.
