5 months

Perry turned 5 months on June 17th. It was also my niece Harlyn's 5th birthday! I am SO behind on posting.

At 5 months Perry is:

-sitting up! I don't leave her by herself b/c she will still tip over but the skill is definitely mastered.

-she can stand while holding on to her little play table at Aunt Kerri's house. not that good, so I don't count it yet but she's getting better.

-eats baby food. she likes green beans, squash and carrots so far. she is such a good little eater!

-is still breastfeeding. my goal of 6 months is rapidly approaching.

-reaches for everything. will knock drinks over or anything else in reach.

-is still swaddled at night.

-sleeps from 9 or 10 pm until 5:30am. is up to eat and then right back down until 8:30.

-is still not that interested in a paci. loves her fingers and chews on them constantly. i try to take them away b/c I don't want her to be a thumb sucker. i know, mean mommy.

-is in 6-12 month stuff, and a size 3 diaper.

-still has the prettiest blue eyes. she has "headlights" like i did as a baby.

-loves water. the pool, the ocean, the bath, etc. she is a water baby.

-has a super sweet disposition. she just smiles and laughs all of the time. she never meets a stranger!

-she does play coy with her daddy - when she sees him when he comes home she gives him the BIGGEST grin ever and then buries her head in my chest. it really is too cute!

Happy 5 months sweet Perry! We could not love you more.
